TED in your pocket

While looking for OER resources, I found a service for TED download. It is a site called OER2Go. If you visit http://oer2go.org and search for “TED”, the following screen appears.

When you click the link, the download page appears. Zip files can be downloaded via FTP or Web, and can also be downloaded using the Rsync command.

After unzipping the downloaded Zip file and clicking the index.html file in it, a links of local files will appear in the web browser. Click the link to view the video. Ted’s total compressed file size is 40G.

It is a great way to improve your English study even if you do not have internet. I hope I can translate the captions and carry them around.
